F2 282 Ride with Tushingham Lightning 7m and 38 fin.

After several foiling sessions lately, I was hoping to get out on the fin today for a change so after Neil messaged saying there was a good breeze at The Manor I headed down there after breakfast and several made it today to make the most of an OK breeze and unexpected sunshine, mild too:) With Neil rigging his 6.9 I went for my 7m to go with my 115lt. F2 Ride 282, hoping the wind wouldn’t come up too much, in fact it was not as windy as forecast and was disappointing slow, not helped by at times a pretty lumpy sea! I went for my usual hour, in fact stayed out none stop for longer covering 25 miles. My first run out I made it to Wadgate Post but the sea was pretty big out there and I was a bit nervous being that far offshore so had several runs closer to the beach, slowly beating down the coast to half way along Landguard beach. I got braver as the session progressed and ended up at Wadgate a few more times, I tried for some fast mile runs but the sea state was not on myside:( As the wind went a bit patchy, I decided to come ashore and call it a day as I have sailed 60 miles in a couple of days. I headed home for lunch with Mag and the kittens before visiting an old friend in the afternoon, nice day:) More wind coming over the coming days but tomorrow is looking very wet!
